What was the motivating factor that got you started on your weight loss journey? Was it one thing or a series of events?

The motivation to lose weight this time around around was my brother’s wedding. His then fiancé sent me a tee shirts with BRIDESMAID across the front. The shirt was a size XL as well as it didn’t fit. I went to the bathroom as well as cried. I was 276lbs; that moment I vowed that I wouldn’t be the ‘fat’ sibling in all of the wedding event pictures. By the time the wedding event came around I lost 50lbs as well as my gown went from a size 26 to size 20.

The one most important modification I made was from within. It has taken a long time however I lastly like myself unconditionally. I lost my weight by complying with the weight watchers program. A year later I ran the exact same 5k as well as completed in 29:57. I ran my very first half marathon in October as well as I am running the Disney princess half marathon on March 7th.
